January/ February Silk Prints

Here are some of the things I've been doing to distract myself from Uni work. Yes it the wrong type of productivity.
All are hand printed with acid dyes, finished scarfs on medium weight habotai silk.
Mainly focusing on a vibrant colour pallet being pinks blues and purples as subtlety isn't my strong point. As far as imagery I was looking at abstracted shapes and the oh-so-overused floral print applied with a rough, painterly approach (or "messy" if we're getting technical). There's also the odd fish cheekily hidden in amongst the chaos.

    Hi Hazel,
    Yes I've been working on the proposal part 2 (keep meaning to post part one on my blog will put it up today). It's due on the 16th but have been doing quite a bit of reading and will post up the progress onto my blog.
